The National Council on Aging seeks to deliver the resources, tools, best practices, and advocacy the U.S. needs to ensure that every person can age with health and financial security. Support is currently available through the Senior Community Service Employment Program, which supports efforts that offer help to unemployed individuals ages 55+ and living on a family income of no more than 125% of the federal poverty level. The Program offers support in California, Georgia, Kentucky, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, Tennessee, Vermont, Virginia, and West Virginia.
