Marc Rand is a seasoned nonprofit executive having spent time in the trenches and at the funder’s table. As Executive Director of American Nonprofits, he leads the launch and operations of the Bridge to Bridge Fund. Marc also supports foundations interested in impact investing through his work with Community Capital Advisors, where he serves as a Managing Partner. Prior to his time with American Nonprofits, he was the Program Director for Loans and Affordable Housing at Marin Community Foundation. There he lent more than $50 million to nonprofits. Prior to his move to California, he served in Romania with the Peace Corps where he led a team to develop 5 credit unions. Marc started his career in international corporate banking. He speaks Spanish, Romanian, French, and English equally badly.
