"Connecting our Members with the Right Grantmakers since 1999."
Autism Speaks Canada is dedicated to promoting solutions, across the spectrum and throughout the lifespan, for the needs of individuals with autism and their families.
The organization's Family Services Community Grants provide grants for service providers across Canada to build their capacity through the creation, expansion, and development of programs to support individuals and families impacted by Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
The focus of the program is to:
- promote autism services that enhance the lives of those affected by ASD;
- expand the capacity of service providers;
- establish promising practices and encourage evidence-based service delivery;
- foster collaborative approaches to service delivery; and,
- reflect current needs and service gaps.
The following types of grants are available:
- Innovation Grants
These grants promote cooperation and partnership to enhance innovative service delivery approaches.
- Replication Grants
These grants seek to increase the availability of evidence-based programs for individuals with ASD.
For both types of grants, funds are provided to support programs involving two or more partner organizations to deliver service, build evaluation surrounding the program, and demonstrate impact in the community. Projects must focus on capacity building to establish promising practices and build evidenced-based service delivery.
The lead organization must have charitable status within Canada.
Application guidelines are available on the Autism Speaks Canada website. Applications must be submitted online.
There are separate GrantStation profiles for the Autism Speaks Scientific Research Grants and Fellowship Programs and the Autism Speaks Family Services Grants.
