American Grant Writers' Association℠  is the national association of professional grant writers, grant researchers, and grant managers. Our 1,000 members work as Grant Consultants or Employees at Local Government Agencies, School Districts, Higher Education Institutions, Corporations, Foundations, Native Tribes, and Non-Profit Organizations throughout the United States, and some of our members work or reside abroad.  Some of our members are now studying to become grant writers, grant consultants, or grant managers

Mission Statement

The mission of American Grant Writers' Association℠ is to enhance the professional standards and ethical practices of grantseekers and grant managers through education, certification, networking, and professional growth.

American Grant Writers' Association, Inc. is a Florida nonprofit corporation and is a 501(c)6 exempt organization.  To promote professional conduct of our 1,000 active members, the organization adopted Standards of Practice and Professional Ethics.  To further the professional growth of its members, the organization awards the Certified Grant Writer® Credential to members who have demonstrated proficiency in grantseeking.  In 2011 the U.S. Patent Office awarded American Grant Writers' Association a Trademark for its Certified Grant Writer® Credential.
