Biography
Aretha Simons is a retired Navy Veteran with extensive experience in nonprofit setup, grantwriting, and grant review, spanning over 20 years. She served during Operation Desert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom, and she ran as a mayoral candidate in 2019 in Orlando. Her dedication to community service led her to establish her nonprofit, and she was honored with an all-expense paid trip by Oprah Winfrey to address the U.S. Senate on nonprofit funding.
Aretha has conducted workshops and seminars across the nation for colleges, churches, and conferences, including renowned organizations like Disney Entrepreneur Center, Department of Labor, SCORE, Bishop T.D. Jakes International Pastors and Leaders Conference, Life Christian University and Seminary, and TechSoup Global Network, to name a few.
