The RONA Foundation, which oversees the philanthropic activities of the RONA Inc. network, contributes to improving the quality of life of Canadians.

The Foundation's Build from the Heart initiative will provide a total of $500,000 to eight registered charities with a project to improve the quality of life of Canadians in need by revitalizing their living environments or making it easier to access housing.

Support will provided in provinces where Rona's corporate or affiliated stores are located, which include Alberta, British Colombia, Manitoba, the Atlantic provinces (including Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Newfoundland and Labrador), Ontario, Quebec, and Saskatchewan.

Projects supporting victims of domestic violence and their children, low-income families, and people with disabilities or mental health issues are of particular interest.

Fund will support the purchase of building materials and products, or pay for the hiring of construction professionals.
