This spring, nearly 5,000 respondents took part in the State of Grantseeking Survey. While analyzing the data surrounding the questions about the grantseeking experience is crucial, I am always fascinated by the demographic results. And, I think that you might find it interesting as well!
Where were the respondents?
The majority of respondents were from the United States, although there were 56 respondents from Canada and 104 respondents from outside the US and Canada. Most respondents’ organizational scope was multi-county or smaller (59%), and 41% of participants served a combination of rural, suburban, and urban population-based areas.

Annual Budget
Staff sizes and annual budgets go hand-in-hand, as does organizational capacity.

I hope that these demographics establish that you are not alone. No matter where you are, whom you serve, or the size of your organization, there are others in the nonprofit arena who share your burdens and successes. We at GrantStation are honored to serve you and wish you the very best!
