How to Secure Matching Funds
Webinar date: May 1, 2023, 2:00 to 2:45 PM Eastern Time
Description: It’s always a good idea to have matching funds for your projects or programs—even if a funder doesn’t require it. When you include matching funds, it demonstrates to funders that they are not the only one with “skin in the game.” It shows you already have support from other stakeholders. Fortunately, with the right documentation all nonprofit organizations should be able to identify in-kind support. During this TargetED, Alice Ruhnke will show you how to secure matching funds to increase your success in securing grant awards.
The Future of Nonprofit Compensation: Are You Ready?
Webinar date: May 3, 2023, 2:00 to 3:30 PM Eastern Time
Description: If you’re like many nonprofit organizations, you may struggle to offer competitive raises in the face of historic inflation. This can lead to massive turnover in your organization, which will make it difficult to serve your community. During this webinar, Stephanie Sample will address how the role of compensation packages and salaries has changed in recent years and explore tools and strategies for executive and board leadership to increase nonprofit staff compensation, address pay equity, and design growth budgets.
Jump Start Your Federal Proposal Writing
Webinar date: May 4, 2023, 2:00 to 3:30 PM Eastern Time
Description: Every year the federal government releases millions of dollars to help nonprofit organizations serve their communities. While now is the best time to consider applying for federal grants, as more federal money has become available through the American Rescue Plan, these grants are extremely competitive, and the application process is cumbersome and often requires a high level of work investment. During this webinar, Alice Ruhnke will show you how to research federal funding opportunities and develop the initial strategies needed to craft competitive federal grant applications.
