Webinar date: May 31, 2023, 2:00 to 3:30 PM Eastern Time
Description: Are you new to proposal writing? Do you find yourself writing too many proposals that get rejected? For most nonprofits, there’s a consistent need to secure funding through grants. This leads to concerns about the potential consequences for your organization if too many of your proposals are rejected. Fortunately, there’s a proven path to success. During this fast-paced session, Amanda Pearce of Funding for Good will provide an introduction of the steps proposal-writing “pros” take in order to see long-term grants success. She’ll review the questions you need to answer prior to searching and applying for grant funds, outline the seven basic elements of most proposals, and show you how to match your needs to a funder’s specific priorities.

How to Partner With Local Governments

Webinar date: June 5, 2023, 2:00 to 2:45 PM Eastern Time
Description: Working collaboratively with local and state governments could be a win-win situation for your organization, since local governments often take responsibility for the burdensome federal financial reporting and audit requirements, which means you can focus your efforts on the ground to help those most in need. However, partnering with any level of government can feel intimidating to nonprofit organizations, especially those without much experience. During this TargetED, GrantStation’s President, Alice Ruhnke, and Jennifer Piercy, the Economic Development Director in Senator Shelly Moore Capito’s office, will show you the steps and resources you need to partner with local and state governments.
