Upcoming Online Education Trainings
Live Webinars

Unless otherwise noted, all Online Education Trainings are webinars,
are 90 minutes in duration, and are scheduled to begin at 2 PM Eastern Time.

Elevating Your Role as a Major Grants Maven
You know your nonprofit is doing good work and that you can secure more foundation or corporate grants to fund that work. Now if only you could get the cooperation of your leadership or other colleagues to help you fulfill your potential. One of the greatest unspoken challenges of fund development is that your success relies so heavily on others. You need to collaborate with colleagues who often have little idea of their critical role in securing grants. In order to make your organizational culture more grant friendly, you may need to try some new tactics. Fortunately, whether you are a junior-level writer or a chief development officer, the steps are similar. During this webinar, Susan Schaefer of Resource Partners will suggest specific steps you can take to improve your organization's grants culture so you can pursue and win larger awards. You'll see how staff at all levels can change the way their coworkers engage in major grants. The webinar will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2023.

Essential Capital Campaign Preparations
Are your plans realistic? Do you have the resources to actually run a successful campaign? Before you start to raise funds, it is important to assess what your organization should build and what it can sustain. For most organizations, this means completing a needs assessment followed by a feasibility study. During this webinar, Kevin Wallace and Carlyn Schulzke of CampaignCounsel.org will show how you can determine your current and future capacity and demand, the external factors that will impact both, and what you need to do to understand the financial capacity of your organization and its donor prospects. The webinar will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2023.

(FREE) Creating a Strategic Planning Culture
The most successful nonprofit organizations are similar to profitable businesses. Both create clear goals and an action plan to achieve them. However, nonprofits face a unique set of obstacles, due both to diverse stakeholder dynamics and the challenges of measuring the success of multifaceted goals. To overcome these challenges, nonprofits must create a strategic planning culture within their organization. In this webinar, Autumn Joyce of Cultivate Advisors will show you how you can leverage successful business strategies in your organization. Pulling from her experience as a business advisor for both nonprofits and for-profit businesses, Autumn will demonstrate how successful business principals can help nonprofits succeed. The webinar will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2023.
