Upcoming Online Education Trainings
Live Webinars

Unless otherwise noted, all Online Education Trainings are webinars,
are 90 minutes in duration, and are scheduled to begin at 2 PM Eastern Time.

Build Your Capacity With an Effective Volunteer Program
Volunteers can be an incredible resource for your organization. They can help you build capacity, save money, and enhance community engagement. Unfortunately, if you don't use volunteers wisely, you're likely wasting their time and talents. With 72% of volunteers only working with one organization each year and most volunteers providing financial support in addition to their time, it's crucial that you make the most of this invaluable resource. Following the right process will help you develop a solid volunteer program that delivers results and enhances your engagement with the community. In this webinar, Mindy Muller of Community Development Professionals will explore the basics of good volunteer programs and how to effectively integrate volunteers into your organizational structure. The webinar will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2023.

(FREE) Tour of the GrantStation Website
Finding the funds needed to fulfill your mission is a never-ending challenge for all nonprofits. Whether you're part of an established nonprofit constantly searching for new funding to expand your programs, or you're a one-person development office, which means you need to do it all, GrantStation can work for you because it is designed to help nonprofit organizations of all sizes get funded. During this live demo and Q&A session, GrantStation's Vice President of Research, Kevin Peters, and Kerry Glauser, Senior Research Specialist, will show you how you can use GrantStation to complete your grant research quickly and get high-quality results. You'll see how you can find and vet funding opportunities in a quick, streamlined fashion, so you and your staff can focus on what's most important—serving your community. The webinar will be held on Wednesday, June 14, 2023.

The Stages and Challenges to Expect During a Capital Campaign
Capital campaigns are hard work. That’s why it's so important to surround your capital campaign with people you trust, and why it is imperative to never lose sight of your mission. This combination of people and purpose will sustain you through the ride. While all communities, nonprofits, and their projects are unique, capital campaigns are built on a proven process. Following that process can help your organization succeed. During this webinar, Kevin Wallace and Carlyn Schulzke of CampaignCounsel.org will show what happens in the five phases typical to most capital campaigns: the family, quiet, leadership, close-out, and public phases. You’ll discover each phase's goals and potential challenges. The webinar will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2023.
