Leadership for America's Education Foundations

The National School Foundation Association (NSFA) is the primary thought leader, convener and advocate, providing support to preK-12 public education foundations through professional development, evidence-based best practices and research in order to increase community investment in our nation’s students.

Our vision is to ensure that students in public schools across the United States have equitable access to outstanding educational opportunities through the work of our member education foundations.

Created in 2002 initially as a public-private partnership through a federal grant, the National School Foundation Association (NSFA) is a 501c3 association. NSFA was incorporated in 2005 to actively connect, support and lead the education foundation movement and now has more than 1,200 foundation members.

NSFA membership provides access to tools, training, resources and invaluable networking opportunities to grow and enhance school foundations. The premier NSFA event is the National Conference held annually in February or March. To learn more or join at www.schoolfoundations.org.
