Hands & Voices is dedicated to supporting families with children who are DHH without a bias around communication modes or methodology. We're a parent-driven nonprofit organization providing families with the resources, networks, and information they need to improve communication access and educational outcomes for their children. Our outreach activities, parent/professional collaboration, and advocacy efforts are focused on enabling DHH children to reach their highest potential.
Hands & Voices was started by parents and is made for parents raising children who are Deaf/hard of hearing 25 years ago. Now, we have parents ready to support new families in 44+ Chapters in the U.S., Canada, and Kenya, and support other family-based organizations with experienced parents, training opportunities, and shared resources. Our motto, "What works for your child is what makes the choice right," guides us in our parent-led and professionally collaborative programs welcoming all families.
