The Association for Animal Welfare Advancement is a professional network that develops and promotes industry best practices, cultivates collaboration, and brings out the best in animal welfare leaders. The Association is the only international society of leaders actively leading and managing community animal shelters and animal control agencies. Our members collaborate to rescue, shelter, rehabilitate, and find good homes for animals.
Members of The Association benefit from targeted education, conferences, and professional certification, including our new online Learning Center and our Certified Animal Welfare Administrator credentialing program, CAWA.
