Massachusetts Nonprofit Network

Our Mission

The mission of the Massachusetts Nonprofit Network (MNN) is to strengthen the nonprofit community through advocacy, public awareness, and capacity building. MNN is a statewide organization that brings together all parts of the nonprofit ecosystem in Massachusetts - nonprofits, funders, community and business leaders, and elected officials - to strengthen nonprofits and raise the sector’s voice on critical issues.

MNN understands that the work of the nonprofit sector impacts every resident of Massachusetts. The state’s more than 38,000 nonprofits educate, keep Massachusetts healthy, support its most vulnerable populations, and care for its cultural, historical, and environmental treasures. They are a critical economic engine generating more than 548,000 jobs and employing over 17% of the state’s workforce.
